Foundation Courses
Foundation Courses
Foundation Courses are programmes that aim to help prospective students get accepted to European Universities to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree taught in English.
DEI College, during its 25 years of operation, has put great effort to better prepare prospective students to obtain the qualifications that European Universities require for admission.
The Foundation Course classes usually have a small number of students, while the teachers all hold a Master’s degree (while several hold a PhD). This makes it possible to provide students with the appropriate and high-quality knowledge required to study abroad.
Foundation Course students at DEI College have the opportunity to prepare in the field of study they are interested in, and which is offered in the English-speaking departments of European Universities. Students will be well prepared for their first year of study at the University of their choice, they will learn the relevant terminology, become familiar with the educational system of European Universities and learn how to conduct presentations and write academic papers.
Alongside the preparation for the first year of studies, students will attend English language courses to improve their English level and obtain the IELTS degree (International English Language Testing System) required by all European Universities.
DEI College offers students the opportunity to attend either during the Winter or Summer term, as well as the possibility to attend courses on-line, depending on the needs of each student.
Foundation Courses for High-School Students
This is a specially designed programme, that allows students to complete their Foundation Course while they are still at the last year of high-school, during flexible teaching hours, to ensure their admission to European Universities, immediately after graduation from high-school.
DEI College can help with applications to countries, including the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Ireland, Italy, and Cyprus.
